Helen has been working for over 40years as a Registered Nurse and 19 years as a Credentialled Diabetes Educator,(“Senior Nurse Specialist in Diabetes management”).
Helen achieved her Post Graduate Certificate at University of Technology Sydney.
Helen is passionate about assisting people to live a healthy and happy life with any type of Diabetes. She will help you to understand and self-manage your Diabetes to the best of your ability.
Helen aims to Empower people through Education and Support.
Helen is Credentialled with the Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA). This requires rigorous annual professional development to meet with National Standards and competencies.
Helen is also accredited with the Insulin Pump Companie’s, for initiation and ongoing care and support of people using an Insulin pump and Continuous Glucose Monitors.
Knowledge has been gained with Medtronic, Tandem and YPSO , Dexcom and ABBOTT Freestyle Libre and Omnipod Dash insulin pump.
Helen has gained expertise in many areas of Diabetes management and is always caring and professional.

A Telehealth service is available for people living out of Wagga Wagga if this is requested and is appropriate.
Helen is accredited with Medicare, DVA, Defence personnel and some Private Health companies (check yours if needed).
Fees
Current 2024 Fees are:
INITIAL CONSULT : $120 ($61.70 Gap)
STUDENT, PENSIONERS AND HCC: $90 ($31.70 gap)
60mins appointment
REVIEW CONSULT: $90 ($31.70 Gap)
STUDENTS, PENSIONER AND HCC: $80 ($21.70 Gap)
30mins appointment
MEDICARE REBATE WITH AN EPC PLAN FROM GP IS CURRENTLY : $58.30
GESTATIONAL DIABETES CONSULT: Usually referred by an Obstetrician or GP: $150 INITIAL CONSULT, plus $300 for ONGOING MANAGEMENT AND SUPPORT= TOTAL OF $450 payable at first consult. (approx. 10 weeks of remote care included until birth of baby)
Non rebatable by Medicare. Check with your health fund.
Payment can be made by Cash or “Square” tap and pay system available for cards.
